Fire on Franklin Avenue
On Saturday, January 5th, an early morning fire tore through 6 townhouses on Franklin Avenue in the Perth and Dupont neighborhood. The damage was extensive- to the point that none of the houses are habitable. The fire started in one home and quickly spread across the rooftops. The houses were old and easy prey. While no one was injured and no children lived in these homes there were pets that were missing and a cat died as a result. Most of the damage to the homes occured from the roofs caving in and flood damage.
