Request for volunteers to build a playground
A request is being made to the community for volunteers in relation to the construction of a playground at the Perth Avenue Housing Co-operative. This effort is being spearheaded by KaBoom “a national non-profit organization that envisions a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America. Celebrating ten years of service in 2006, we rally communities to achieve better public policy, funding and public awareness for increased play opportunities nationwide.” KaBoom is working on this project with corporate partner Home Depot.
