Earlier this morning, I looked out my office window at City Hall and saw the decorations going up on the tree. It all seemed perfectly timed to coordinate with today's snowfall.
Time to drag out the winter boots, I guess. I'll keep the bike out a bit longer to see if we get any reprieves from the snow and ice, but regardless I'm looking forward to a bit of skating and hot chocolate before long! One of the great things about Toronto is that our parks are fun all four seasons of the year, and some would say the more snow the better!
I hope everyone's ready for it, and remembers to help out our neighbours who need a hand when it's cold and snowy. I'm not sure if the snow will still be here tomorrow morning, but if it is, remember that people with mobility challenges--the elderly, people with wheelchairs, parents with strollers--will thank us for keeping our sidewalks ciear!
