The FPCBP is pleased to announce its 4th annual essay contest with the theme:

“Para mim, ser Português é…” or
“To me, being Portuguese means…”

Students must include a cover page with the following information:
Name
Age
Address
Phone number
School and grade
Teacher’s name

Prizes of $1000 will
be awarded to students
with the top essays

This contest is open to all Ontario Students of Portuguese descent who are in grades 7-12.
Entries must be based on the topic “Para mim, ser Português é…” or “To me, being Portuguese means…” to be written in either Portuguese or English.
Essays must be between 300-500 words in length (1-2 pages), typed and double spaced. Students may submit one essay in each language
but can only win one prize.

Please email entries to essaycontest@fpcbp.com or ensure they reach the FPCBP office by mail,
courier or personal delivery before the deadline (722 College Street, Suite 301 Toronto, ON M6G 1C4).

Winners will be contacted by June 14, 2007.
Please note that all submissions become property of the FPCBP upon their receipt.
